Web Design FAQ

Website costs vary depending on what you want. The price is based on how many pages your website will be, how much content your website will have, what features it will have, what sorts of bells and whistles it will have, and how many revisions are given to us. On average, a typical small business website with approximately a dozen pages costs around $1000. Ecommerce website prices start at $2000, and can vary based on how many products we need to add. Formal proposals are available upon request. Call 239-898-2579 for more information.

Absolutely. Whether your website needs to be redone entirely, or your website needs a small update, we can help. If you are no in contact with your original website developer and/or if you do not have the log in credentials to your existing site, we can help you recover it.

That’s like asking a mechanic “Can I change my own oil?”. Well, yes, you can, if you know how. We generally discourage updating your own website unless you know what you’re doing. We can show you some basics, but don’t expect to be able to make elaborate changes on your own if you have no experience.

Maintenance plans are optional and price will depend on what your specific website requires. We can create an estimate based on your needs. Mantenance plans can include any of the following:

  • Website Back Up: Freedom Computers will maintain a full backup of the web site files and FTP information. This back up will enable Freedom Computers to provide a quick resolution to any possible server or hosting issues encountered in the future, and to reupload back up copies of any files necessary. Website backup files and log in credentials will be available to the client at any time upon request.
  • Support: Support can be provided regarding the following: monitoring statistics and website counter hits, resolving issues from any visitors of the website, handling any updates or issues from the hosting company, and answering any questions about the website in general.
  • Content Changes: This will depend on your website’s specific needs. Here are examples of common website changes:
-Updates to contact information, hours, staff information, job postings, reviews, important announcements or any other website content
-Adding / Removing products, change prices or shipping information, change banners
-Removing outdated content and information, former employees, outdated/broken links
-Change latest news, important announcements, events calendars, homepage banner
-Correcting any newly found spelling errors or mistakes on the website. or outdated/broken links

This depends on how much content your website has and how fast and efficiently content is provided to us. Typically, a small business website takes 2 to 3 weeks to complete, from the time of our initial meeting until the time your website is up and running.

We will do as much as a web designer can do to improve your Google page ranking, including using metatag keywords, metatag description, appropriate titles on each page, and using standard compatible search engine friendly source code, but there is only so much that these things will accomplish. Google’s search results are determined by the websites’ popularity, and your website will be competing with every other website that has the same target market. We encourage you to market your website, include your website address on all your advertisements, business cards, and social media posts. The more websites that link to your website, the higher page ranking your website will have.

If your website is still not getting the traffic you want, we can look into paid avertising, such as Google Ads.
