The PC-805's Quartzell high-resolution transducers mean smaller sample sizes and reduced human error. The scale's operation is simplified by three bright, yellow keys (Sample, Tare and Zero) which accomplish the majority of its functions. In addition, the PC-805 features all the keypad functions including operator entry and recall of known piece weights and tare weights.

Optional equipment includes a draft shield for the ten-pound version for displayed resolutions above 10,000 divisions, battery operation kit and charger, and a ball-top shroud kit.
